Named after St. Charles Borromeo, the defender of the Italian Catholic church in the 16th century, the parish and school of St. Charles serves the people of Hartland, Nashotah, Chenequa, Merton, Oconomowoc, and Delafield. Catholics and Christians alike can come to regularly scheduled mass, including the areas around Okauchee and Pewaukee lake.

It's an exciting time to celebrate Christianity at Saint Charles. The congregation is open to new parishioners and our school is ready to welcome fresh students with open arms. Mass in the old church is now available in person or via live streaming video, helping the faithful attend mass from their homes if they are unable to come in person. The Rosary is prayed every morning at 8:00 during the week and Eucharistic Adoration is scheduled throughout.

As our parish grows, so do our facilities. Construction on the new church began in Spring of 2021. The archbishop has given his consent to move forward with the building, and thanks to the Cornerstone project, generous donations have allowed us to begin! Over the next year parishioners can anticipate construction of a multi-story place place of worship designed in a classic European style.

The grade school students enjoy a parochial education, from as early as K3 to the 5th grade. Extracurricular activities include sports such as basketball and soccer and the school choir sings at selected masses in the church. St. Charles is also the recipient of the Exemplary Recognition for academics award, the third such prestigious honor given by Milwaukee's Archdiocese.
