About St. Charles Parish

Named after St. Charles Borromeo, defender of the Italian Catholic Church in the 16th century, the parish and school of St. Charles Catholic Church in Hartland, Wisconsin serves the Lake Country Catholic community of Hartland, Nashotah, Chenequa, Merton, Oconomowoc, and Delafield. Catholics and Christians alike are welcomed to regularly scheduled Mass, including the areas around Okauchee Lake and Pewaukee Lake.

It is an exciting time to celebrate the Catholic faith at Saint Charles Parish. The congregation is open to new parishioners and the school is ready to welcome new students with open arms. Mass is available in person and via live-streaming video, helping the faithful attend Mass from their homes when they are unable to come in person. The Rosary is prayed every morning at 8:00 AM on weekdays, and Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration is offered in the parish chapel from Monday morning through Saturday morning.

As the parish grows, so do its facilities. Through the generosity of parishioners and the Cornerstone capital campaign, St. Charles continues to expand worship space, classrooms, and ministries on its Hartland campus — a multi-generational investment in the Catholic life of Lake Country, designed in a classical European architectural tradition.

St. Charles School offers a parochial Catholic education from Pre-K3 through Grade 8. Extracurricular activities include sports such as basketball, volleyball, and soccer, and the school choir sings at selected Masses. St. Charles School has been honored with the Exemplary Recognition academic award from the Archdiocese of Milwaukee — one of only a handful of Catholic schools in southeast Wisconsin to receive this distinction.
