About St. Anne Catholic Church

St. Anne Catholic Church, located at 2337 Irving Ave. in San Diego, California, is a prominent center for traditional Catholic worship in the region. On October 7, 2008, Bishop Brom re-established St. Anne's as the Extraordinary Form parish within the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Diego. The parish is entrusted to the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter (FSSP), an apostolic society instituted by Pope St. John Paul II in 1988. The FSSP is dedicated to preserving the Traditional Latin Mass (TLM) and administering the sacraments according to the liturgical books of 1962.
